Sign-up for SS Meteor Work Project
Date: Saturday and Sunday April
26 and 27, 2008
Time: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Saturday and 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Sunday
Where: S.S. Meteor Whaleback Museum in Superior
Wisconsin on Barkers Island.
Lunch will be provided
Saturday and Sunday, plus dinner on Saturday night. Breakfast you
will be on your own. We usually meet for
Breakfast at the Perkins Restaurant at
7:30 AM, near Barkers Island, minutes from the Meteor.
Lodging
can be provided for up to 20 people in various campers, boats and
houses around the area free of charge,
first-come,
first served.
If you prefer to stay in a Hotel, their
are a few small Hotels in the
local area. Please try Googling "Duluth
and Superior Area Motels" to find a Motel or try calling the Staff at the
Meteor to help suggest one. Their phone number is, (715) 394-5712.

During the project, ask the
staff of the Museum to bring you on a tour of the ship you normally do
not see on a regular public
tour!
