This is an excellent chance to learn, understand, and take part in creating a photo mosaic of an underwater shipwreck. The Harriet "B"  Mid-Lake off Knife River in 600+ ft of water.
Guest will meet at the RV Preservation at Two Harbors boat launch by 9 am Saturday morning, Crew will meet at Spirit Lake Marina Friday and run the boat to Two Harbors. You are welcome to stay on the boat Friday and Saturday evenings, and car pool with us from Bob Nelson's house Friday evening. Just let Bob Nelson know (cell 612-916-8183612-916-8183).
 
We will cruse to the Harriet "B" Saturday morning, deploy the drop camera, photograph it, then return to Two Harbors for the evening. Meals will be served on the boat.
 
Sunday we will return to the Harriet "B"  and complete the drop camera work as required. 
We will return to Two Harbors when completed, which should be around 3:00 to 4:00 PM.
All meals will be served aboard the Preservation.   (The fee for the project covers expenses for food).
 
Please note:  All project participants are required to print, read and sign the GLSPS "Liability and Waiver Forms".  Here is the link to the forms.  GLSPS Master Liability Waivers - Medical Forms for Projects Updated 3-25-15  Please don't forget to bring the forms with you to the project.  Please remember, if you answer "NO" to all the Medical form questions, you do not have to fill out the second page of the Medical Form.  If you answer "Yes" to any of them,  you will need to have a Physician OK you to dive with the GLSPS.  
 
 Please bring warn clothes, rain gear, sleeping bag,  personal beverages, and a sense of adventure. There is lot's of fun work you can do to make this a successful project.
 
The Itinerary:
 
Friday - the RV Preservation will be brought up to Two Harbors.  Anyone wanting to cruise up with Bob Nelson, Jim Christenson and Tim Pranke are certainly welcome.  If you will be driving up Friday, you are welcome to sleep over night on the RV Preservation or hotel you reserved earlier. We hope to install the mooring Buoy on the Ely at arrival.
 
Saturday 8:00 AM:  Wake up call. Prep boat for days voyage
 
 9:00 AM - Pick up quest at Two Harbors boat launch dock.
 
9:30 AM - Perform Boat safety briefing.  Departure from Two Harbors to the Harriet "B".   set up equipment while traveling to the shipwreck site and eating breakfast.
 
10:00 AM - Drop camera and boat operation process briefing from Project Leader and Archeologists while underway.
  
10:30 AM - Start the documentation process with drop camera
 
12:00 - 1:00 - Lunch is available while working.
 
Continue documentation process according to Project Leader and Archeologists.
 
5:00 PM depending on the participants, Cruise back to Two Harbors dock.
 
6:30 to 8:30 PM - Dinner and debriefing.
 
9:00 to 10:30 PM - free time before overnight sleep on the boat or hotel
 
11:00 PM - light out!  Please take the time to go to sleep earlier if you like.  We encourage you be rested for the next day of documentation.
 
Sunday Itinerary,
 
7:30 AM - Wake up. Prep boat.
 
8:30 AM Meet at the Two Harbors Dock and head for the Harriet "B"
  
9:00 AM - Briefing from Project Leader and Archeologists while underway to shipwreck while eating breakfast.
 
10:00 AM - Start drop camera operation and documentation.
 
12:00 - 1:00 PM - Lunch is available
 
Continue drop camera and documentation.
 
3:00 PM - Depart from Harriet "B" shipwreck to Two Harbors Dock.
 
4:00 PM - Unload RV Preservation and head for Silver Bay.  Stopping to install the mooring buoy on the Maderia shipwreck
