GLSPS Meetings Announcement
All Meetings are now on "Zoom"

Please Join us for a GLSPS Meeting!

Become A GLSPS Member

All of the GLSPS meetings are broadcasted and have been since February 2019.  To join us for a “Zoom” Online Meeting, please log in as a member.  Then go to the “Events Calendar” Click on the date of the meeting and scroll down to the description of the meeting where you will find the link and any information you need for the "Zoom" Meeting.  Click on the link and you will be prompted to download the most current and secure software for the GLSPS Zoom Meeting System.  This will only happen once, (unless there’s a software update).  Once the software is loaded (or the app on your mobile device) it will automatically go to the Zoom meeting login, it may ask for you to enter the password, (which is in the meeting information) push enter and you will see the participants and the meeting in progress.  Your audio will be muted upon arrival to the meeting and you can toggle it on and off as needed.  You will mostly be muted during the meeting.  You can also toggle your video on and off during the GLSPS online meeting.  Please feel free to use the "Chat" option to ask any questions or make any comments during the meeting.

Currently the GLSPS Board of Directors is choosing to stay with the Zoom Online Meeting System.  The board is still trying to decide how often we need to have an in person meeting.  Perhaps a couple of times per year for an in-person meeting may be the new normal.  When we do decide to meet in person, we will still have a highbred version of the meetings and will inform the membership of the change.  We have Board of Directors that are in other cities and states and will still need to participate in the Monthly Board of Directors Meetings via Zoom.

Please Note:  As a reminder, you will need to log in as a member to access the Zoom Meeting Links.

It's very simple to join us and stay in contact with the GLSPS Board of Directors, Staff and fellow members.  The online meetings will help keep members up-to-date and informed about the organization's future, happenings, goals and ideals.

The GLSPS will continue to broadcast ALL meetings from now on.  If there are any changes or if we have an in-person meeting, we will contact the entire membership to let them know they could join us at the meeting place.

Please do not hesitate to join us during any meeting we broadcast.  What better way to become more active as a GLSPS Member!

We hope to see you at the next online meeting!

3D Shipwreck - Photogrammetry

J H Jones

The Great Lakes Shipwreck Preservation Society Thanks to Ken Merryman and his circumnavigating adventures he was still able to continue with the 3D Photogrammetry Process we set up over the years

Our GLSPS divers aboard the "Heyboy" have performed the necessary dives to shoot the images to create the 3D models.

We have added a few more 3D Shipwreck Images to the GLSPS 3D Photogrammetry Database.  Please feel free to take a look at the database by clicking on the link to the 3D Shipwrecks Website.

https://3dshipwrecks.org/

In the future we hope to add more 3D images to the Database.
