Jay Hanson from North Shore Scenic Cruises has helped the GLSPS on many projects. Jay has many years of experience as a Captain, dive shop owner, dive instructor and commercial diver.

Jay has taken a different path for the past few years and his scuba charters are no longer available. However, in 2012, Jay purchased the Wenonah which was previously used to transport people from Grand Portage, MN to Isle Royale, MI. He now offers day cruises on the North Shore of Lake Superior and is docked at the Silver Bay, MN Marina.

Benjamin Noble Photo Mosaic Project. (2nd Weekend)

Join the GLSPS and famous shipwreck hunter Jerry Eliason for a second attempt in helping with the process of launching a drop camera to shoot under water video to create a photo mosaic.

During this project, Jerry is hoping to capture more video coverage of areas not able to be obtained in the past, to complete his photo mosaic of the entire shipwreck.  He is also capturing video to sync with his newly discovered process of 3D Photogrammetry.  This will provide even more detail of the shipwreck and note any changes in the deterioration into the future.

If you have any further questions about the project or the process to capture the needed video or how you can help on the project, please contact Jerry Eliason.  His contact information is below.

We hope to see some new faces and  participation.

Thank you for your interest in the Project.
